I got up this morning bleary eyed and poorly rested as usual. Staggering coffeewards my last dream began to slowly coalesce. A highway at night. Something about a ghost ship with tartan sails. I'm wandering around a crowded bar filled with nerds, scanning for any lingering eye contact (was this a gay dream?).
Suddenly I'm seated with an all too cheerful undertaker with a limp and someone I know to be Charles Mansons's babysitter for some reason. We await the start of the floorshow, legendary Perth wednesday night cover band The Greasy Cocks and their noted cover of the "Bend me, shape me, any way you want me" song, but the band hasn't shown. To my horror, the crowd looks to me for amusement. "You, You!" they say. I protest "but I only know internet anecdotes!". "Don't care! Don't care!". "My voice gets kind of annoying fairly quickly!". "Don't Care! Don't Care!". "Well OK. Have you guys heard of this game called Thief?" The crowd turned hostile. "Boring! Get to the Bonobos!". "Bonobos?" I protest, " God no. They were married, so the party's over there. Now it's all cats". Rage! A riot! Everywhere, goatees do battle with frayed, vomit stained carpet.
Coffee is ready.
I wander back to the machine, wondering what that was all about. The TTLG window is still open, the display option reading 'show all, from the beginning'
Don't surf sleep deprived kids. Things may mingle.
As for he accusation that I turned up to a meet? Ridiclous.

I've met nineteen at least, and we're talking strictly TTLG peeps!
Tally does not count girlfriends/wives of TTLGers who registered here but never made it past a post or two.
