"Across the western sky he runs
A wolf so grim and mean
Devours the eternal sun
And soon the world will cease to be"
...EH?
Oh, the mp3, right...
"Mulholland" is great. Very calming and theraputic; this is what you would call a soundscape, right? I'm quite fond of those.

It’s ok but after a couple of decades of Eno, Reich and company it’s not exactly groundbreaking. Perhaps I was expecting too much.
I was reading an anthology and the editor raved about the upcoming short story. The author was certain to supplant Shakespeare in the pantheon of English literature (yes, better than the Bard was the promise). As it turned out the story was good, possibly excellent, but the editor, having steeled me for transcendence, disappointed both the writer and me. A more modest assessment would have been better.

I got halfway through and gave up, owing to the fact that is was dull, repetitive and entirely forgettable.

'fraid not noid! Spent 6:48 waiting for it to start and it never really did.
I must agree, it sounds like a few too many opening chords... It loops quite nicely though. It's the sort of music I like to play while programming, as it keeps the ears busy without actually distracting you.
All around though, I prefer something a bit more upbeat, electric guitar with an orchestral background or something. The sort of tune that plays during a boss battle; Music meant to motivate! ;)

Occasionally I can be in the specific mood to listen to this kind of music, but imagining that I am the last human being alive is a good way to get there - noone else to think about and no real time frame. I admire your passion for music mr noid!
