seriously you have to check these guys out they are immense, totally fueled by sadness but nice sadness, the kind of tears you weep when you realise you've got friends and family

I really appreciate this kind of stuff after a long day and a good bottle of wine, curled up on the sofa with someone who knows when to shut the fuck up.

I'm pretty sure they were playing this at the giant kelp tank exhibit when we went to the monterey aquarium
Goes good with kelp.

Ah, I suspected it would be Stars of the Lid as soon as Noid began yappin' :)
Tired Sounds of is, in fact, bliss. Sad, moving bliss.
My favorite pieces, though, are Requiem For Dying Mothers 1-2 and Austin Texas Mental Hospital 1-3.
One of those rare times when I agree 99% with Noid...yup.
(Yes, even the whole bit about the sea...).

Mang, it was pretty and peaceful and very SOUNDS OF THE AQUATIC MAMMALS MATING (no seriously i liked it) but I listened to it twice while getting my irc on and it completely did not stick with me. I'm probably too wound up though. THANKS FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION LMF

would have been the perfect soundtrack to the '59 flick On The Beach fade scene - a submarine on the surface of a clam ocean sailing off into the sunset

How romantic. :)
Anyway, for the track, I'm begining to learn that when Noid posts a track you don't just download it, listen to it and comment. You gotta download it, put it on your mp3 player for a few weeks, forget about it, rediscover it, go "whats this shit? oh yea noids track" and then resurect the thread and say you hate it. I'll be back in a few weeks.
