An Imperial Cult quest directing me to go to Mt. Kand and find Inus Iulus' Silver Staff of Shaming and other personal effects. I was given a detect enchantment ring to find mentioned items, i take it that it's supposed to be around Mt. Kand and not inside the caverns. Well I've been searching a long time and can't find any of it. Could it be this Iulus got captured in nearby Telasero? Anyone got some ideas? HELP! I'm going crazy! (frustrated):weird:

It took me AGES to find him, and it was a while ago, but, IIRC, he was quite high up among some rocks above (ish) the Mount Kand caverns with their riddling Daedra (that is, not IN the caverns, but close by outside). He's lying on the ground between some rocks and was not easy to spot. I think I found him by getting the long lasting levitation spell from the shrine of daring in Vivec, then teleporting to Mt Kand vicinity and just flying around. It's not impossible to climb up there, though, so you may not need the levitation spell. The detect enchantment item given to help with the quest was less than useless, btw.
Hope this helps

Tnx Ania that narrows down my search considerably, you have no idea how huge the uncovered map i made :). It'll be easy for me to levitate since I've already got a constant enchant levitation. thnx again

I went all over the place as well, it was frustrating to the extreme, I think I actually spotted him by accident in the end, and much closer than the outer radius of my huge search. Hope you found him by now

His corpse is just above a cavern entrance to Mt Kands interior.....nearly right on top of the mountain....not east or west.

I found the 'detect enchantment' ring to be quite helpful. I put my constant levitate ring on one hand and the detect enchant ring on the other, flew in circles starting at the cavern Mt. Kand entrance, used the detect ring every few seconds, looked at the map, moved a bit, used it again, etc. Didn't take more than 4 uses befroe I saw that nifty blue circle on the map.
but perhaps I got lucky.

at only 10 secs per spell effect and just so many uses at a time, you got lucky ;) hehe

The thing that helped me find him was I suddenly started hearing the buzzing flies that you hear around a corpse. Looked around and behind every rock and there he was.
If you are levitating you might not hear the flies.
