For a nice ring of invisibility, go to Caldera and search the shops. One of them has a ring of aversion. Either buy or steal it and you will have the ability to steal almost anything that's left lying about.
To improve your speechcraft (in my opinion, one of the most important classes in the game), save your game and try to admire some random NPC. If their rating goes up, save it, if it goes down, keep trying. Only save when you persuade up higher than you were before and reload if the rating drops below forty. Do this to a bunch of people. When you get bored, do something else. Each time you come to a new town, work your craft on several people. Eventaully, you should be a master. Also, be sure to drop some more points in personality, to make your job easier. When you first start, it is really difficult to persuade or taunt anyone. Bribing is typically easier, but based on a different skil (mercentile). After a while, you should be able to taunt and admire almost everyone.
As far as light armor goes, I'm not sure. Glass armor is, definately, the best, but hard to find at a low level. I think there might be some at the Dren plantation east of Pelgiad, but you have to fight for it.
Hope that helps!

If you need help with staying invisible, start wandering around Gnisis a bit. Somewhere in that vicinity, (I believe there is a Dwemer bridge nearby) there is a person with an amulet of shadows, with 80% chameleon for either 30 or 60 seconds. Look for some woman that has lost her ring in a small pond. Near by, look carefully, and you will see the faint outline of someone in chitin armor that is mostly invisible. Go ahead and kill this person, as no one will report it, and take the amulet. Quite nice.

sappe on 18/4/2003 at 12:54
in vivec, the thre greathouses have on canton each.Hlalu(sp?)canton, Tellvanicanton and redorancanton-all of wich have vaults in them. But it's not easy to get into the vaults though. The locks of the Hlalu and redoran are 95 with a trap and the tellvani lock is 75 with a trap. But you have to fight two stormatronachs there. Also there are many ordinators guarding all of the vaults. Both inside and outside.
Anyway they are kinda stupid.

My Khajiit is onnly level 12 and he has a full set of glass stuff.. I really had to hunt for it thuogh, and I have beat the game before so I knew where to get some of them. :ebil:
And I have a glass Poisonsword, which I think is better than a Daedric longsword..
And I saved money until I had something like 20K (:eww: ) and I enchanted my glass tower shield (for the life of me, I can't remember where I found that!) with a restore health 100pts in 2secs.. Which is excellent for me right now. I'm really looking forward to doing the Azura's Star quenst.. My Nord trapped a Winged Twilight in his, but I didn't realize that Golden Saints are the only ones that give you constant effect!
