Almalexia is a she (and a psycho! ;) ). And make sure
you don't kill her too soon, because she's the one who can teleport you to Sotha Sil's city to complete the Tribunal main quest. I don't think anyone else can do this, though I could be wrong
True, you probably couldn't get there then, unless....
You killed her after you get that ring for her, maybe it's activated after you give it to her and then you could just take it off her corpse, but I'm only guessing here. :ebil:
Of course you might miss going through the clockwork city then but I thought it was kind of a dissapointment anyhow. Just a bunch of fabricants and no loot or anything, although those big bots near the end were cool, damn I want one of those for a pet. :cheeky:
Fred (bosmer burglar) would be happier just exploring and lurking around in the city practicing his acrobatics than working, but when he must, it's for the Thieves' Guild and the Twin Lamps (both moral folk)
Sela (imperial spy) will work for whatever benefits the empire and its army and church. Tough but fair. No fashion sense, though.
Harvey (altmer 'consultant') will happily put an arrow through anyone for a large cash sum, also for the laundry fees if it means leaving town.
Tim (orc songsword) is good for guard duty and will happily travel and face danger, but will happily resign if his employer is noticably greedy or malicious.
Taco (khajiit smuggler) moves sugar from port to port and does the runs inland.
Hides-From-Blind-Eyes (argonian ranger) is a character I haven't actually thought out yet. Damn.
Liam Inkwell (nord hunter) was asked his name by that guy in the brown robe, so he looked at the desk and said the first thing he saw there.
Bootblack (orc hatcherman) looks damn good in black leather with a sword, and is probably tough and nasty. No personality yet though. Go easy on him, he's brand new.

Damn, you have that many characters?! I only have one now (a Nord named Merkyll) but I really want to try out an Argonian or Dunmer. Also with a Hist I could make up a really kick-ass name like 'Only-He-Stands-There'. ;)
My character was a truly virtuous, knight-in-shining-(ebony-)armour up until I actually destroyed Akulakhan.. I was still very nice after that, don't get me wrong, but I started doing Thieves Guild quests, and all of a sudden I realized I was taunting and killing people to get what I wanted from them instead of stealing it. Well at least stealing would have been the lesser of two evils..
But I think my character has become hardened by experience.. I have boosted all of my major skills to 100 now, and I just feel that Vvardenfell is too small for me now; although finding Kagrenac's Library was thrilling, and just finding ancient Dwemer or Daedric ruins always makes wandering aimlessly in the Ashlands worthwhile.
I have been very true to the course of 'history', and have tried to be the proper Nerevarine (although Vivec was no saint before he became a god). I have named a few spells after Nerevar, and I am about to imbue an Ebony closed helm with Azura's Star (+ Winged Twilight), and call it 'Nerevarine's Soul'. I just want to find ways to make my character as 'real' a Nerevarine as Nerevar himself would want. ;)

I only have 2 characters.
The first is a monk who I plays like the real me. I don't steal or kill (or do any "bad" stuff) unless it's part of a quest I have to do.
The second is a (new) custom class Assassin. He'll be a nasty mofo. But professional. No random killing, no random stealing. A real cool cat who relies on sneaking, hiding, critical damage and ranged one-shot kills. I'm playing it as if I'm a trained, disciplined killer.
JoJangles - I thought you played a battlemage. In a skirt.
JoJangles on 7/4/2003 at 16:00
Your monk sucks.
And yes, I play a battlemage in a skir... robe. In MW at least. In most games battlemages suck... well in most multiplayer games, since you don't need utility spells as casters/thieves get them.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty disappointed in how many Daedric Ruins there are. I've wandered into pretty much every Daedric Ruins in the game at one time or another, though oddly enough I've stayed away from Red Mountain (it's too foreboding... it gives Ryushi the chills though once inside Dagoth Ur's Citadel he was back to his old self.) Dwemer Ruins are a pain in the butt... the loot is barely good enough and the good stuff is so rare, why bother? Daedric Ruins are by far the best, if only because of the Dremora Lords... if you manage to get some battle axes your in luck. And then of course I've got a few items that are worth a ton of money but aren't artifacts at all...
I'm too spoiled. I need to get used to getting all the treasure I can. *sigh* I'm starting a new game too... This character will be ruthless, but also won't kill anyone unless they attack first. Ryushi is going to become a werewolf once bloodmoon comes out and wreak havoc on all three islands... But my new character is going to be even stronger.

I'm Playing "Zorloff the Great (?)" right now.
Nord, Rogue, freedom fighter :) I free all of the slaves and they all like me, but they never leave the cages they're locked up in , stupid slaves.
I usually carry about 4 enchanted weapons and about 30 magic rings and amulets since my magic skills suck.
I have 100 in Axe though and it rules !!!My sneaking skills suck, but I had originally started as a thief/mage and it took forever to get anywhere in the game, fighter is deffinately the way to go.
Usually I only kill out of nesseccity, I have two houses in Balmora (one got too small) and I've killed a few other owners for houses around the island so I can sleep. I have an obsession with soul trapping as many creatures as possible, someday I hope to afford the enchantments, its slow going.

Currently, I'm playing a female Redguard warrior/thief. I started the game as a pure thief, but quickly discovered that Morrowind is pretty rough on thieves and mages. Since I dislike dying, I changed characters and buffed up. With high stealth, I can deal death blows to most creatures in one hit and anything that sees me coming isn't alive for very long anyways!:ebil:
My character is an honorable mercenary of House Redoran. I free slaves and don't kill innocents (people that don't attack first). My persuasion skill is very high and I can sweet talk almost anyone. I rarely have to fight to complete a quest and even bandits will chat with me before they attack. On the other hand, I'll steal anything not nailed down, sometimes just for the sport! My collection of Sermons is coming along nicely (five to go!) and my house in Balmora is a packrat's dream.
Aside from a genuine lack of respect for individual property rights, my character is pretty moral, I'd say. It just doesn't feel right to kill people (even if they aren't real) who haven't done anything to deserve it. Also, on my first play-through, I was concerned that I might accidently kill off someone important to a faction quest. I didn't want to burn any bridges. As for slaves, I really wish it was possible to free all slaves (I wonder if this could be done through a plugin?) Slavery really bugs me, even in a computer game.
Now that I've beat Dagoth Ur, I feel that I'm not being challenged enough. I think I'll look up some questing mods or maybe even restart with a new character. My next character will probably be darker. I know most of the important NPCs and have done many quests the "right" way already. I missed being a vampire because I ment my first vamp after being cured of corpus. While I could have lowered my resistance to disease through potions, it was just too much work. Next time, I might shop around and pick a clan - could be fun!:ebil:

Originally posted by kfort As for slaves, I really wish it was possible to free all slaves (I wonder if this could be done through a plugin?)Well, it's easy to make but hard to make it 'tidy'. I rigged up a "proof of concept" demo kind of thing awhile back... unfortunately, it broke quests that relied on slaves' responses, and/or let you break slave-based quests. It's probably possible to make one work in 9 out of 10 cases, but all the same it's just asking for trouble.
