About 1 month ago, I bought a greeting card at the local Walgreen's Pharmacy. I also bought 2 Visa gift cards, and a few other various things. I was watching the girl ring up my order, and I thought I noticed that she scanned my greeting card twice. I just thought at the time maybe it didn't scan the first time. So when I got my receipt, and looked at it, I saw she scanned my greeting card twice. I asked her about it, and she says, "Oh, you have to pay for the envelope, it's separate." Here I am wondering what odd planet I've been living on for the past 36 years, because last time I checked, the envelope was part of the purchase price. So I let her know she's doing it all wrong, and the envelope really is part of the card purchase. I mean, is there a bar code on the envelope? No, it's just part of the deal. It took about 15 minutes to get the damn money back for the over payment. I know it was only like $3.99, but it's the principle, you know?
