Hi,
Could anyone tell me what's the connection between LGS and the Deus ex series? I always assumed it was made only by Ion Storm.

Then why is there a deus ex forum here? And wasn't there some LGS code for a door in Deus ex (something like 0451)

Weird connections, yes. Warren Spector, designer of Deus Ex and the original System Shock (co-designer), originally worked at Origin. Looking Glass was kinda affiliated/broke off/part of Origin - that's why System Shock is Looking Glass/Origin production credits on some websites.
Then, ISA was originally going to be 'Looking Glass Austin' before that idea got scrapped, and then of course, LGS went bankrupt. Warren Spector was also involved (to some degree) with Thief.
451 was the security code to LGS' offices, so it frequently features in their games (including System Shock, Thief, Deus Ex, etc.)
Also, Deus Ex can be described (mostly by Kieron Gillen of PC Gamer UK) as a game in the 'Looking Glass Aesthetic' of game design. Thief, Deus Ex, System Shock, are all examples of this 'Aesthetic' - rich in object interaction, emergent gameplay, RPG-like features. All of these things add up to a 'Looking Glass Aesthetic'. So Deus Ex fits right into this, despite being developed by ISA.
