hi,
i played ss2 multiplayer with a friend for a while now and we've got a strange problem at a specific place in the game : when we go to the operation D level (where there are two units to reprogram with cards) we can't leave this level anymore (always the same crash of one of the player at the level transition).
is it a known problem? what can I do to fix that problem which prevent us to go further in this amazing game?

Probably a corrupt .mis file.

I tried my coop savegames with two differents install of the game and same crash
are .mis file modified when saving game ?

No, they are simply the level files. I'm not sure which Ops file is which, so I would advise that you and your friend both go onto your SS2 CDs and copy the ops1.mis, ops2.mis, ops3.mis, and ops4.mis files from the Shock folder into your SS2 folder, replacing the ones that are currently there. See if that fixes the problem.

Not as such, but copies of them are saved with your saved game. It's possible that the .mis file for the mission you're trying to go to has become corrupt in the save game.
