Been looking, but I don't think this has been posted yet. Prior to talking with the King in Arx about the collapsed tunnels and getting the Trolls to clear them, I went on an uncut gem run through the Troll caves by using the Levitate scroll found early in the game. I found the best spot to use the spell was on the bridge between the Troll camp and the Troll sentry across the chasm. If you stand on the Camp side, you'll be too high to pass through the tunnel. On the sentry side, you'll be too low to enter the Camp from the rear.
Standing on the center of the bridge, I cast Levitate and went through the narrow water way leading to the lone uncut gem by the waterfall. On the way to the Troll camp cliff access, I came across a niche on the right with a corpse. On the corpse was gold, a bejeweled long-sword of extra damage, scroll of bless and scroll of incinerate.
I double checked the RPGDot's Arx Guide map for level 3 and found no such mention. Neither could I find mention at Jowood's forums.
Game version is GOG's 1.19, if anyone wants to check this find out.

That may be something changed in a patch. I know exactly where your talking about and there was nothing there on the 1.17 patch unless I some how missed it. I never went there with patch 1.18 so not sure there. I wish they would release 1.19 to the public, but I bet they won't. :confused:
There is a closer way to get there. There is an exit in the troll cave that is above the river not far from there. Cast levitate there too.
