I've no idea, I never asked them.
The majority of people understood that it was a temporary title; so I guess it was never a real "concern" per se.
Nobody I know of lost sleep over it or anything like that.

No, that's not true...the majority of the people disapproved, and wished it gone, as it stood there insulting them for the past four years...and never were sure if or when it would ever be changed, due to longevity of the logo and EM's poor public relations.

The Thi4f logo was stupid looking, and I'm not surprised they changed it. Can't say it was ever something that really irked me. The new logo doesn't bother me. That's not the sort of thing that ever bothers me though. It could look like it was written in crayon by a three year old as long as they give me a good game.
