Speaking of enchanted armour, was anybody else hugely disappointed by the reward for the main quest? If they're going to give you unique armour, they could have at least given you good unique armour. I'd have prefered higher armour rating and no enchantments to the rubbish they fobbed off on me.

Reflection and chameleon? Pfft. I intend to Feather and Fortify Acrobatics myself until I can jump to the top of White Gold Tower. One way or another I'm gonna be able to fly. Do you hear me Bethesda? *shakes fist*

About feather, I wonder why my Daedric Feather Cuirass (125 feather) included with Gray Cowl (200 feather) actually lowers the amount I can carry stuff. With the Cuirass my default is around 120/713 and with both Cowl and Cuirass (325 feather) it's around 120/690, makes no sense to me :p.

Well thank goodness I didn't have to send my email. I'm sure everybody at Bethesda is mighty relieved. On my last Oblivion excursion to gather some spiddal stick for poisons, I happened to get the 100 Feather Sigil stone. I was able to dump my boots of blinding speed and enchant some feather boots instead because with 100 feather for some reason I move a LOT faster.
Plus I stopped into the Imperial City and enchanted a couple of things (I realized only suckers wear anything that's unenchanted, and here I'd been going through the game with perfectly mundane gauntlets all this time). And since my carrying capacity is now 610, well I'd be a double sucker for sure if I didn't whip a couple of other nice things while I was there. It's nice. Even with the really boffo spells gone from enchanting now it's still pretty fun. If I were running the show at Bethesda I might have made a couple of different choices, but what do I know?
Now can someone please please make a mod that puts a numeric point value next to full soul gems?!

Should be:
150 Petty
300 Lesser
800 Common
1200 Greater
1600 Grand
I can see the point of having them shown ingame though.

My carrying capacity is something like 935 right now, and all my gear only weighs around 240.
