I think Bruma's local blacksmith has a pair of Orc Gauntlets which fortify your strength by +15 or so. Better than what you can do with a sigil stone, though the gauntlets do drain your health by 30.

From my tests, weaponskill helped melee DMG more than strength, but both bonuses were heavily shadowed by +50 magicka.
For killing, there's no reason to get anything but +50 magicka.
What's funny is that at level 1, you can get +7 int, or +10 magicka. IE: They don't scale parallel with eachother.

I travelled to Anvil specifically to buy myself an Absorb Health spell, specifically so I could enchant a sword with it. Now if I find out Absorb Health is unenchantable, why, I'll be writing the "Dear Sirs! :grr: " part of that nasty email, and picking out the really withering smilies I'll use throughout it.

100% chameleon hasn't been nerfed at all. I was running it before I decided it was over-powered.
Now I run 100% Spell Absorption instead, using sigil stone enchants.
Keeps things interesting whilst getting rid of the fear of overpowered high level casters.

Only on weapons. I made myself a daedric longsword with 8 absorb health and 3 second soul trap. It's got 51 uses.

Non-magical attacks are still somewhat dangerous with 100 SA (easily rechable as Atronarch) but it sure takes a lot of the sting out of the most dangerous stuff.
85 is the Armor cap regardless of what you're wearing.

Hee hee. After i got Azuras Star i enchanted my fav Daedric Longsword with 20 Absorb Health and 1 Sec Soultrap. I then named it Leech. Feast on the damned sweetie :ebil:
And Reflect Damage is not teh suxxor :0. Some enemies deal damage way above what they could stomach themselves. I had Minotaur Lords loosing 1/3 of their health after hitting me with a charged attack (Reflect 43). Besides, if you get mobbed and some summons or weaker monsters bring themselves near death or even kill themselves in the Smack-o-rama ensuing, all the better. Of course it wont help you much if you got little HP or Armor yourself. Me, i like it very much :s

What's the 85 in reference to?
Spell absorption?
Surely not...
My effects panel says I have 105 spell absorption, and a spell hasn't gotten through since I've had it.
What I'm working on next is spell reflection through powerful in-game items. I already have enough for 77% on 3 items :D

Armor = Armor, not spell absorption ;)

Gotcha :)
Was getting a tad confused for a moment there.
