Are those ordered or just in the category?
If the first, Mr. Robot is a hell of a show for #1 status.
I get turned on & off by it, ultimately it doesn't click, like it's trying to be Fight Club or a Chuck Palahniuk story without the edge (nevermind also without the plot). But I like that it's still trying and I still cheer it on and am a fan. It's an Icarian show, flying close to the sun but always at risk of going down in flames.
Nah, it's just the order I remembered them. Though, if the second season really sucks, as Fafhrd is saying, it should probably be on the B-list instead.

The Killing (Danish and US versions with equal enjoyment)
I don't know about the US version, but the Danish show was really good.

I mainly enjoyed the US as much because I rate Mireille Enos. I thought she was as good as Sofie Gråbøl. It took forever to get into the US version of The Bridge although I did manage it eventually. I enjoyed it well enough but it lacked the Nordic touch.

The efficient solution is to just target shows well after they've jumped the shark. Then arrange to only watch the seasons worth watching. Even the best shows at their best are usually only 3-5 seasons on their game. You don't need to lose time doing more, and you have more time for the best parts of other shows.
Interestingly Japanese anime figured this out a while ago. The majority of shows are only 1-2 seasons long, you see them do their thing, then you just move on to the next show, and before you know it you can go through 30 different concepts and be better off for the variety.

This is also how a lot of British shows are done. They tend to have fewer episodes in a season and fewer seasons overall.

I watched the first episode of Black Sails and I can't go on. The acting is terrible. It's like Eastenders with more money.
And they try to shoehorn as much sex and sex chat into it as possible - this always bodes badly for any series. I know a few people who really like it but it really seems very cheap to me. Does it really get that much better?
I've really liked:
GoT (natch)Westworld
Better Call Saul
Silicon Valley
Homeland
The Walking Dead
Billions
Mr Robot Series 1 (not seen 2)
I thought these were okay;
Fear The Walking Dead
The Path (only started it)
I got bored of:
Man In The High Castle

I'd say the Japanese have a somewhat similar problem. They don't necessarily run a single show into the ground, but they'll make 5 dozen other shows almost like it, mirroring similar themes with only slightly different characters.
I'm pretty sure 70% of all anime are shows about magical highschool girls with access to giant robots.

Well GoT did it first and everything else seems to by copying it but failing to get anything else right.

Speaking of which after a while I realized Black Sails is turning into a pirate version of Deadwood, with the same basic premise (civilization coming to the lawless wilds) and a lot of the same character types.
Thor on 2/4/2017 at 06:35
1. Josephu Joestar's Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders
2. Deadwood (thanks's for reminding random poster before me)
3. AMC's MADMEN
4. Lolicon Valley
5. Cumunity
6. Shurrlock (although every next season is a bigger farce than the last, so I'm not sure I'll show up for the 5th time in 2019 if there indeed will be a 5th)
7. Westuwarudo (The most nonsensical show I've seen probably ever, but it explored the relationship of suffering and being human, which is more relevant than anything else, really. Would be higher on the list if the execution was better)
8. GoTh
Don't have much time to spare for shit-teir shows although some of these are partially that anyway.
