Google links/images that lead to Stormfront turn casual slacking into some serious business.

5. web pages that simply re-direct you back to themselves when you click the "back" button in your browser... I haven't seen this happen since the IE6 days though.
Oh this can still happen under IE8, I assure you of that...

Use a proxy server. Ask your friendly neigbourhood network administrator for help (be prepared to use beer/sex or various combinations thereof).
No proxy for me. They're all blocked by Websense. There is no network admin at the hillbilly library. Just hillbilly librarians. Sites are actually blocked for reasons like 'tasteless' and 'social media'. It blows.
They claim they will 'disable the filter', but not really. It's only on a site by site basis. Can't even go to Somethingaweful for a bad movie review without begging permission.
GGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sitting in a hotel room, discovering the open network only to be greeted with the hotel's login page. Then ask the desk clerk about it and get told it's 13€/h or 29€/d.
People people people! There's an internet café right around the corner charging 0,50€/h. Learn from them, 'cause that's where I'm going.

Adding to the theme of punctuation and "lol", people who use "lol" instead of punctuation. Most of instances of this appear on Facebook.
Example:
Lorna Binty had better dinners than this in Frankie & Benny's lol
This is most displeasing.

This will only be an excuse for a tiny portion of your tormentors, but French grammar puts space after/before ; : « » ? and !
I didn't know that until four years ago. (¬¬)
