The Experts Exchange thing has happened to me a lot, so I tend to google with that as a negative match.
Speaking of which I'm gonna toss this in here for no reason in particular:
-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"file name here" to search public html index's for files. Good way to find various things, such as Doom wads when reformat. :P

5. web pages that simply re-direct you back to themselves when you click the "back" button in your browser... I haven't seen this happen since the IE6 days though.
* Web pages that immediately redirect you to another page.
* Web pages that immediately redirect you to the same page.
* Age verification pages that redirect you back to the age verification page, because your mom told you not to accept cookies from strangers.

"Thumbnails" that are just full-sized images made smaller with width and height html params.
Pages where every other word is a link to an article. On sites like wikipedia it's tolerable, but it gets annoying when some random blogger does it.
Products where the manufacturer's page has a good list of specifications, but never tells you where to buy it.
The increasing number of websites that have a button saying "Come and join us on Facebook" or "Follow us on twitter" and all those other sites.

People who sell products (in shops, eBay, etc.) and don't give the most important specifications of their products (e.g. the part I'm interested in.)

Alternatively, "View larger" that link to something like 20 pixels larger. I'm not asking for full-blown HD resolution but at least have it be, I don't know, twice the size for instance.
nota bene: Make the thumbnail from the big pic, not the other way around, stupid.
