I can't figure out how it's going to work yet. They've been trialing software to do things like this for ten years but none of them were found to do the job (as is the case with such things usually).
I'm thinking it'll probably have no effect at all, which could go two ways on review: they leave it/drop it or ramp it up significantly.
The latter won't work either and will annoy everyone and we'll have to try and make them calm down or we end up with Tony Abbott as PM. Which is some sort of nightmare come true.

They'll ramp it up. One they decide to go for it, they'll have to keep trying or it will be seen as admitting they're idiots - idiots who wasted a lot of time and money on it.
Quite why they think that would be a shocking revelation to anyone is beyond me.
