i killed someone in pelegiad?, and a guard ran up to me. usually, i would have 3 choices. pay, jail, or resist. this time there were 4! pay jail resist and, "PRESENT LEGAL WRITS''! what does this mean?
Marxist ßastard on 15/8/2003 at 19:47
It means that you have joined the Morag Tong or you have started the Mournhold quests where you do a series of legal executions in service of Helseth. Once you gain a writ of execution from any Morag Tong questgiver, you can kill the named person without having to pay a fine if you present the writ to a guard.

Excuse me, I think I'm going to vomit.

Mooka, go ahead and ignore Marxist. I know it's hard, the way he demands attention and such, but his posts will be, more often than not, deleted by a moderator. Just some wise words from a foolish man ;)

Er... Then that would mean that at least one of my posts on this thread has already been deleted. Really, Ryushi, what would you think if someone joined the Morag Tong, then immediately tried to kill every one of them...
...Or if someone killed the head of House Redoran and then tried to join the House, thinking everything would be the same...
...Or if someone wanted to kill the head of the Temple just to get the key to Vivec's Palace?

Marxist ßastard on 15/8/2003 at 23:31
So did somebody hypnotize you to make you be a human board?

No, that would mean that atleast one of your posts on this forum have been deleted.

I'd think right on. People play the game as they want to, and suffer the consequences for playing the way they want to. Morrowind doesn't seem to be in any imminent danger. You could play for a hundred years and Dagoth Ur won't move from his lonely mountain.

I would think they made a mistake. And now, just as you pay for killing people IRL, they need to pay the consequences of their actions.

For that, I would think they are curious as to what can be found in Vivec's Palace (I expected more than a round room myself, what with the long stairs and big canton.) Or, I would think they would be trying to take the backpath method (of which I've already mentioned, thank you) because of previous actions that they have done. This may or may not be the case, but if you have the time to check various times of postings, then I suggest you just leave it be.
Thank you. Any more questions for me?
