True, but still, DX2 does contain many of the classical console port problems.
- Graphics are heavy, but not pretty. Mainly because in consoles there are no need for sharp textures, while in PC textures must be wery sharp because the cristal clear picture of PC displays.
- Menus don't work without keyboard.
- Some standard PC features are missing, which doesnt exist in consoles. Quick save and saving of settings for example.

*laugh* Time to upgrade from that Atari 2600 console and get something newer.... even my N64 saved settings to games (usually in the save game file, but still)
"Quicksave" only works with games that save anywhere... but guess what... I've got a bunch of them that do that on my XBox (PS2 might be crippled in that reguard, but they don't have a hard disk drive standard in their system).... Usually there ins't a "quicksave" button, but that's ok... it doesn't take any/much longer to use the menus.

back to the global release, or lack of it. there is alot of cd pressing done in australia, and hence most audio cds come out here at the same time as everywhere else. in fact, the last to muse albums (uk band) have come out here BEFORE the uk release and not just because of the 10 hour time difference.
so why, when standard asia pacific editions are in english, is the game not out here yet? it doesnt make sense to me, but then im not a multi million dollar video game distributor CEO, so i dont know what im talking about.
and on the same topic, why can i order dvd's online from ezydvd with free postage within australia, yet all the online cd stores charge about US$2 per cd? this also doesnt make sense... i think its a conspiracy and global shipping and distribution is controlled by a group of rogue lab chimpanzees from hallucinogen testing facilities.
also how can it cost more to send a card to japan than a 1kg package to europe? japan is closer to australia and has direct flights. WHO DOES THESE THINGS? WHY DO THEY DO THEM?
maybe dx3 will answer my questions...
