hey!
can someone help me, morrowind launcher.exe is not working. i've reinstalled a couple of times, patching it all to the current version but the launcher is not working. clicking on it just takes me to the game instead of opening the launcher window.
thanks.

Are you sure you are using the Launcher and not Morrowind.EXE? Try deleting the file you are trying to run and then doing a reinstall.

i've already done that.
unistalled the game. deleted every file in the bethesda directory. excepting the save file. then reinstalled the game again. patched it up. but still no launcher window.
i've tried installing the game to a friend's pc and the launcher worked. but to my pc. what gives?

Try double clicking on the Morrowind Launcher.exe in the actual directory. If that works, your Short cut is pointing to Morrowind.exe.
Right click on the short cut and go to Properties. Change the Target from <MW Dir>\Morrowind.exe to <MW Dir>\Morrowind launcher.exe . You may need " (Double quotes) around it, and instead of <MW Dir>, put the full directory name of where Morrowind was installed.

i've done that too.
and here's one crazy observation, when i first installed morrowind, the game added two shortcuts to my desktop. one is the shortcut for the morrowind.exe and the other for morrowind launcher.exe. but after reinstalling, the game only created a shortcut of morrowind.exe.
is there other way to load the mods available for morrowind besides the launcher?

IRC, you can manually edit the morrowind.ini file and define plugins there (which is all the launcher does). I don't have it handy though; anyone have Morrowind handy, so they can check?
