What does Larrius Varro's quest give you? I killed one of the people and know all the rest are waiting at the door, so I can't kill them. I just wanted to know if the quest was worth it.

The quest gives you a nice ring (20-30 chamelon for 30 seconds) which can be used to get 100% chamelon. However, I have found one ring that was better than this (40-70% for 30 seconds. Unfortunatly, it was a random find.

The Larrius Varro quest is an interesting one. So long as you're at a decent level, clearing out the Corner Club should be no trouble - if it is, just hop on one of the downstairs beds and shoot them with arrows or get them with a spear (they can't hit you). Some consider this... unethical, but if you're struggling, it might help. You could always leave it for a while until you get stronger.
IMO, it's worth completing, if only for the experience/body loot. The Ring of Surroundings is pretty nice too - worth 12000, so you can't flog it (easily) unfortunately. Another bonus of the quest is that your bounty is wiped clean. I only realised this afterwards, but you could use this to your advantage and exploit it - commit as many crimes as you want, down a couple of invisibility potions, leg it back to Larrius, and get away with it. :ebil:

What do you mean? I killed one of them and know whenever I walk in they are waiting at the door. I don't have Spear as a skill, is there any way I can kill them? I'm level 4 should I wait?

It's really easy actually. Taunt the smith at the top of the stairs until he attacks you. Kill him, the others downstairs will not fight you. Then go downstairs and there should be a thief by the bedroom(s). Taunt her until she attacks you then kill her. (Then heal yourself on the big nice bed ;D). Then go upstairs and attack one of them, and kill the guy who has a sword. The other 2 only have fists so it's fairly easy (I was level 5 when I did it I believe0.

If you do the quest without commiting a crime (by taunting them to attack you), Varro will give you another item in addition to the ring. I think it's just a valuable book, so it might not be worth it. I remember being pleased with it at the time, though.

But *where* in earth is Larrius Varro? I've been all over Fort Moonmoth because a bunch of NPC's have said he wants to see me, and I can't find the good man.

He's down some stairs in the barricks if I remember correctly.
