I'm a cow major and it's news to me too.
I do recall a saying that goes "A woman looks at a man the way a cow looks at a train." It was from a movie about a female sniper in WW2. She didn't think much of the sentiment as I recall.

Eels are a shabby excuse for a real band. You can hear their singer smirk all the time about how many 14 year old punkrock girls he banged backstage.

As near as I can tell, it may have something to do with claiming to see/know something without having enough basis to know for certain what it was.
Also, EEL WRAPPED IN BACON SERVED ON AN EXPLODING BAND'S NIPPLES.

I did not want to start another thread, so I'll ask this question here...
What does "bank" mean in this context?
- Car 1 banks a massive score!
- Banking a record score there, Car 2
- A great score safely banked for Car 9
To secure? To fight?
Fingernail on 7/6/2007 at 07:28
yes, to secure is basically it. Imagine the scores are like money, being put safely in a bank.
In various game shows, quiz shows on TV and other such games, the word is often used in the context - you either bank the score/money you have already made, or risk it all for the chance to get a higher prize. To bank is of course the "safe" option - your winnings are held and can't be taken away if you then make a mistake.

I've heard that phrase used a few times. It basically means, when you get that feeling like you want to drop the 9-5 job, worrying about bills, mortgage etc and live a simpler, rural life, but then realising your chained to the system, hence it's just a glimpse
Actually, i just made that up. :p
