Projecting human behaviour and nature into the future, I find it entirely believable that humans might become more intolerant, more "raw" and perhaps more willing to kill if the world becomes a tougher place to live in (scarcity of natural resources, inequity in distribution of wealth, overpopulation, etc). The Deus Ex 2 team has my full support in including whatever adult theme/dialogue they choose in their sim. As long as much thought and heart went into it, I'll buy it regardless.

The game industry will probably follow the movie industry. First comes normal game out and shortly after comes the porn version.

I really can't comprehend why those two girls in Hong Kong was so bad. I thought it was interesting and added to the game. It was also pretty well done.

whats so "bad" about lesbians anyway? its the same as a hetro couple dancing. just the fools that snicker at it because they think its free porn. everyone is diff and has diff tastes. you dont like it dont buy the damn game. ISA will get enough buyers as it is. and if they make too much money they might retire and then theres no DE3 which would suck am i right? it really doesnt matter. whatever ISA puts in they put in. i might buy it if i can get some cash to upgrade my rig :/ this thread just seems started for the sake of argument. not classy debate either. its made by adults, and they are putting their lives into this game, so therefore it will reflect there lifestyles in some way. if you are too far away from them (age, etc) then it might offend you.stiff shit. lifes like that. noone forced you too see lolita did they? noones forcing you to play this.
btw i do see your point and if the enemys only said crap id still play it. swear words mean nothing, its ppl that tell you its bad. as usual ppl are trying to force there oppinions on you. be true to yourself and your beliefs and then it really doesnt matter if someone says fuck does it?
just my 2c australian

Take the... adult concepts out of DX... to boost sales?
This is a weird weird thread.
How many innocent little kiddies would be playing a cyberpunk conspiracy theory special agent game anyway?
In any case there's enough childish games out there without dumbing more mature masterpieces down.
"Bob Page, you're a big wee-wee head!"
Sad. Homophobic, too.

My opinion is: "If you don't like the show, change the channel"
Maybe I'm a little desensitised to these sorts of things, but I find it hard to see how anyone could find the material offensive. Seeing lesbians (and psuedo lesbians) at nightclubs/pubs/raves these days is not exactly a rare event, so why would we imagine that there wouldn't be lesbians at clubs in the future. I think that its probably a worse thing to find that offensive.
While the developers of Deus Ex didn't set out to make an ultra realistic game, they were trying to create a believable sort of atmosphere. In my opinion, I found that a lot of the so-called "offensive" material added to it.

Chances are that if you see someone get nailed with a bullet in the leg, they're not going to say "Oh darn, I just got shot!". Pardon my language, but it'd be more like;
"AAARGH - FUCK! GODDAMN SONOFABITCH! SOMEBODY FUCKIN' SHOT ME!!!"
Considering that nobody in the game actually said that or something along its lines, I'd say that the team already took much of the hardcore dialogue out of the original anyway. To ask them to take out even more would make the game both unrealistic and tame.:erg:

Brother, it seems there is a fault in thy weapon! Thou keep shooting me!
