Well that sucks, get better fett, but listen to this: I heard of a guy recently who has a blood disorder that
creates alcohol in his bloodstream. He's not had a drink in 2 years but is permanently pissed or hungover. THAT is super fucked up.
That is all kinds of awesome

I know I'm asking for trouble, but since the 90s were like a second teen hood for me, I prefer 90s Bowie (waiting for bombs to fall on me).

Outside was a decent album.
I have it in my car right now.
I also have fond memories of seeing Bowie and Nine Inch Nails together(!) in concert, especially the segue between bands.
NIN did their set, Bowie and some of his band join them.
Bowie and NIN perform together, with more of Bowie's band joining in and some of NIN's band leaving.
After several songs it was just Bowie and his band left on stage, but at one point there were at least 15-20 musicians on stage performing, including 4 drummers, 3 bassists and at least 6 guitarists.
Sweet.

Spin Doctors and Blues Traveler used to do that on the H.O.R.D.E. tour.
Not that it was necessarily better, but it was probably more of a mindfuck when they did it, because, well, the audience was collectively higher than God.

The difference being that I didn't have to sit through Blues Traveler!

Have you tried spatially weird games too, like System Shock (the cyberspace bits) or Descent? :)
Glad you're making the best of the situation, fett. Even so, hope you get better soon!

We had a cat get an infection like that one time. Poor thing was gripped tight to the carpet trying to hold on to the world with it's eyes spinning wildly. I've had to put one foot on the floor myself a time or two just to lay down.
Hope nobody has to pry you loose from the carpet.

I feel bad for your friend.
Interestingly, as an Australian, I'm also jealous of him.
Fett: I'm only new here, but I hope you get better quickly. I would suggest not playing FEAR. Until you are better.
