Holy hell Boris actually won??!!?
Fingernail on 3/5/2008 at 00:35
Fucking hell. What irks me more than anything is that I really think there is a sizeable proportion of people who voted Boris because they thought he'd "be funny", regardless of whether they like his policies or don't like Ken.
And it's not going to be funny when they realise he actually has to make important decisions.
Jesus christ.

I wish people would stop messing up the local government with all this national party political bullshit.

Pardon my ignorance please, do Brits vote for individual people or for parties?

Least we got rid of a lot of Labour councillors up here in Sheffield \o/. Now all we need to do is get rid of the Labour MPs come next general election ;).

Good for brittain socialists are the scum of the earth :thumb:

That may well be true, but racist philandering conservatives aren't a whole lot better.

Give them a chance, England seemed to be stuck in some bizar political-correctness contest, perfect breeding ground for muslim radicals and the BNP. A bit of common sense is just what England needs. Glad to see the left getting beatings everywhere, Italy, England, here as well next elections.
