This is a great verdict, he would have had a chance at staying alive in jail. He's going to be killed at some point as a "free" person.
It's also great because it means the next time there's an alt-retard rally, I can go there with a 'Trump Fucks Small Boys" t-shirt and an AR-16, and if anyone gives me shit I can shoot them and claim that I felt threatened. As long as I say "I wish none of this had happened" afterwards.
Don't forget to promise to be a nurse.....

Classic.
Thanks 'murica to defend the "righteousness" of these subhumans.
No need to be "
damn leftist elitist" to see a subhuman in human form :p
They're damaged persons since childhood, aggressive and stupid like mindless animals.
And that's why they're dangereous and appelead by the (far) right propaganda (channeling their inner violence and lack of self-control)

I live just north of Kenosha and was appalled by the verdict. That little snot-nosed POS punk came to our state looking for someone to shoot; his posts on his FB page identified him as a Trump supporter & white supremacist wanna-be who was looking for trouble, ffs. From the start of the trial the judge seemed to be off in his own little white supremacist world so of course the whiny little drama queen was acquitted. I doubt this will end well for that nasty little boy. I feel very sorry for the families of the people he murdered. *smh*

Yeah, I'm sure they were just randomly chasing him down the street and it had nothing to do with him provoking them into a fight and waving his weapon at them.
Something happened that told everyone he wasn't part of the protest, wonder what that was. If only there were drone footage of what that was that could be shown in court or something.
I'm not sure that not partaking in a riot is that much of a black mark against him, is it.
The footage I've seen shows Rittenhouse running away from the child rapist who is pursuing him, which is in stark contrast to the prosecution claim that it was Rittenhouse doing the chasing.
Not sure what relevance context-free grainy video is supposed to have to a criminal case. Seems about as relevant as the disturbing criminal records of the alleged victims.

Yeah, he was an innocent bystsander. Who drove hundreds of miles to disrupt a rally with an assault rifle.
My favorite aspect about the alt-right is the OMG WHAT DID I DO? I'M JUST A WIDDLE INNOCENT SPECTATOR thing. At least the OG fascists owned up to their stupid bullshit.

That's been a right-wing tactic for generations now, always play the victim and cry foul when you're caught being the oppressor.
As for Rittenhouse, as far as I view it, once you accept that he wasn't legally allowed to have that firearm at that place and time, all other defences fall null and void. It's not a perfect analogy by any means, but if a burglar shoots a home owner that disturbs them in the act of nicking their valuables, the burglar can't claim self defence because they thought the home owner was threatening them.

Thing I just read is that Republicans including Mat Gaetz are trying to get Rittenhouse as a congressional aide/intern now.
(

Quote:
“You know what? Kyle Rittenhouse would probably make a good congressional intern. We may reach out to him and see if he'd be interested in helping the country in additional ways,” Gaetz said during an appearance on right-wing commentary channel Newsmax, where he also said he believes Rittenhouse is innocent.
The problem is that everything is broken and ridiculous now so we have no barometer for how broken and ridiculous any ONE thing like this is, which would have been in the past a career-breaking move from a politician.
Mat Gaetz and co are actual fascists and that's not even pushing it. "helping the country in additional ways" i.e. that taking it on yourself to shoot black-rights protestors was a way to help the country, and we should groom people like that for office, while parading them in front of black members of congress. This is scary, even the KKK weren't that open about it.

20 miles. Not that distance travelled makes the blindest difference to whether or not a crime has been committed, but if you can't even get the basic facts right...

Yes, I suppose If you accept that things which are false are in fact true, then that makes it much easier to believe whatever you want to believe.
Not a perfect analogy? Erm, no, it's possibly the worst analogy I've seen.

The great thing about SD posting his opinion is that I then know for a fact that the opposite is true. You're a great barometer for bad ideas.

So if someone goes to a Trump rally with a rifle and gets the Trumpers to chase them they can turn around and shoot them and it's self defense? Or do they have to show records of them being a child rapist before they start to chase?
It will be interesting to see how this defense plays out in the case of the black jogger who was shot. Maybe as long as you can get someone to lunge for your weapon or move toward you then you can kill them and get away with it. See someone you don't like? If you can't get them to chase you then chase them down and if you can get them to move toward you then you can get away with murder.

The relevance is that Kyle is violent and as long as it's a girl he can use his fists but is too much of a puss to use them against a man who might win and thus shoots instead.
