No shit. If you've ever been heckled, you'll do almost anything to make them stop. I've said some pretty shit things to people over a microphone in a desperate attempt to turn the tables on them. If you're not quick on your feet (and Richard's is NOT) then you end up making an ass of yourself in short order and panicking on top of it, which leads to saying more stupid shit. Sure, it was uncalled for, but cut the guy some slack.

I don't see how his words should make any difference. Someone earlier noted that they're just words, and throwing a collective whine-fest about it with everyone you can find just validates Kramer's dumbassery.
