There are about 5 weeks left to the final deadline for getting your missions submitted - that's still enough time to start a mission from scratch and make a pretty decent entry in the contest! I won't be doing another contest for a long time, so don't miss out on this one!!! :cool:

Although I won't be submitting a mission, I will hopefully have a new version of GarrettLoader released a week or so before the competition deadline.
There are soem changes to it that may affect how your mission is handled (no massive changes or anything, just a bit of flow re-ordering which shouldn't make any difference at all).
Also if you are planning on doing anything more adventureous with your FM's (custom maps, smeshes, etc), let me know and I will drop you a beta of GL 1.31 to try your FMs out in....that is if anyone is at that stage :cheeky:

Still doing it slowly, its taken a bit of a back seat for the moment. I have been doing GL a lot...and while testing the custom game support, I have found that I have played Half life and Half Life 2 all the way through again + 5 large HL1 FMs, 40+ HL2 FMs, a DX1 FM...and DX1 all the way through...etc. I must actually stop that and just make sure the process works :p :p
I've also actually got 2 FMs on the go, but one is doing my head in as I keep ending up with holes in the floor when I render...:grr: Its a pity as its one that I have my best ideas for.

Busy, busy :p Have you tried different build options? I had to do that with complex brush work (I forget which settings I used . . . maybe Lame Optimization, Minimize Cuts: <15, Portals Cuts All>70?)

Maybe I shouldn't be the one to ask because i have been slacking so much lately, but is Contest 7 still progressing? I still wouldn't manage to make something if it has been pushed back a bit, but if anyone still needs a Beta tester or needs help on getting something to work, anything to get some more missions up and running, I actually have some time on my hands now.
