You couldn't have two different games in the same contest, it would just be too complicated. Dark Mod contests would be cool though; I'm sure they will come in time.

Having a new site for T3 and TDM is a really good idea actually. Good thinking. I missed the TDM bit when I 1st visited.
However, the late 90s want their website stylings back :cheeky: :p

I see "My TDM missions" has been changed from "Coming Soon" to "Coming Eventually" - I did think the original was rather optimistic.

How many people are thinking of making missions?
I am 60% through your tutorial, Komag, so first things first. But still.
I have a few ideas I'd like to see to completion.
No promises, but I'll definitely give it a shot :)
By the way...the voting system in GL...does that count in the contest results?
That's where I sent my votes from, anyway.
Komag on 25/11/2005 at 13:46
No, those votes are not part of the contest, you'll need to stop by Shadowdarkkeep.com and submit your votes there! :)

Dear Komag... This time I'm gonna enter the contest. I decided this on Thanksgiving & got to work with installing everything, but I can't get the editor to work anyway... I posted the problem at the the T3 editors guild, so now I'll have to wait for an answer...
Komag on 27/11/2005 at 00:54
I'll be adding more pictures and screenshots to the tutorial, including the beginning installation section, so when that get's updated it should help.

...or, if you're not in too much of a hurry to get started. I might be able to have my automated T3Ed installer ready for Christmas. :)
I hope this version of the editor will be able to find a place in your tutorials section Komag. :) It's a labour of love.

Another awkward question - if a mission is mostly composed of new smeshes, but someone else has to convert them into *.tim files for TDS, do they count as a co-author, and can they still vote on that mission or enter their own?
I think it's okay, because of the "Thanks to ________ for helping with ______" kind of comment, but I thought I'd check.
:ebil:

That would just be a helper, not co-author. They would be a co-author if they were helping design the meshes to the such an extent that they had a large influence on the mission design. But it sounds like they are just doing some conversion work to help out, so no co-authorship there.
