Interesting, thanks. I had never heard of it.

Wow, this whole blue room concept sounds pretty crazy  You shouldn't really need them for T3 FMs though. Anything you would use them for in DromEd should be doable in T3 with Triggerscripts.

You can count me in for this - I have an idea :ebil: *grins evilly*
Looks like I won't be working on my normal FM for a while...

That does sound like a lot of fun. I'll see if I already have it downloaded somewhere.
I don't suppose anyone knows of a thread where people have posted all the things they have used the blue room for, or random musings of things that could be done in a blue room.
edit: Hmm, it could be a fun challenge to see if you could manage anything with a blue room that can't be done with scripts.

Yeah, the old blue room trick managed to pull off some amazing things in Dromed. :) It was like the physical realization of a trigger script.

It was like the physical realization of a trigger script.
Once I was playing with one of those text-based MUD games, and creating lockable doors and alarms you could activate which all stored state by moving some object from one room to another.
I thought this was quite clever until it was pointed out that this is exactly what variables
are, it's just the MUD imposed a more physical metaphor than normal.

I should be able to finish an entry for this one, since this contest quite fortunately falls into my long uni holidays. Still, i have to get the mission i was making for C6 out first ...

Hey now! :) You can still work on the extender. ;)
Yeah, my long summer holidays are coming up, so I'll be able to multitask a bit. :) Not much time for
anything Thiefy at the moment I'm afraid... all my assessment is due next week!

It's the "back stage" of a mission, a place where you can, for example, store items that are to be teleported into another room at some time.
Gee I thought it was where blue movies were made..;)
