Okay... BSP is at 100%, all necessary static meshes are in (though some rooms definitely need more decorating), NPCs and patrol routes are in.
I still need to do some serious tweaking - the texturing in particular is craptastic, and some of the lighting is dodgy - but the shape of the mission is there. I'm still having a bit of trouble with objectives, but once they're done and I've packaged it up for GL then I'll have something I can reasonably call "beta". :)
One question - I know the beta deadline is tomorrow, but at what time, and in what timezone? :p I'll be cutting it pretty fine at this rate.
Okay, I lied, here's one more question - Where exactly do we submit? I guess I'll just submit it to Epithumia if there's no word on this by the time I'm done.

Okay, beta's are due today! But this beta deadline is not so strict, so I just want everyone to try to get me a working zip within the next two or three days or so. You can submit them to Jason (Cheap Missions) or I'll also post more instructions at the Keep shortly.
You can still work on your missions and add to them for another week, but it's just good to work through the packaging process now in case you run into troubles and need the extra time, see.
With that in mind, if you're trying to get your mission all prepared for working with GarrettLoader and you're having troubles and it makes you very late for this beta deadline, don't worry about that, I won't disqualify you or anything.
And remember, problems with computer stuff often seem hopeless when you can't figure them out at first, but if you keep working on it your genious god-given minds DO find workarounds and solutions, and things always seem to come together in the end, so keep at it!!! :thumb:

Okay, missions are due now! If please send them in as you can, and email me if you are having and trouble or will be some days late. As with the betas, you can submit them to Jason (Cheap Missions) or to the Keep (FTP instructions are on the Keep front page)
Public release of all the missions for the contest will be next week, Sunday Oct 23! :D

If public release is the 23rd that means midnight, right? I wouldn't want to go to sleep and miss hours of game time. The suspense is killing me. (Better get back over to the other thread and help Crispy get the last bugs worked out)

Crispy and a couple others are trying to fix up a couple last minute troubles on their final missions, and I'm inclined to give an extra day or two if that's what it takes for a better contest release. We'll see how it goes over the next day or two :cool:
