I liked greasel hunting. I always went looking for them.
At first, in the lab on level 4, I was blown away by them. But after a lot of replays I looked forward to taking them out . The sea lab level was fun for greasel hunting.
I used a lot of different weapons. Up close and far away. The sniper rifle was good for far away. You see them. Line up the shot. Then they see you and start charging. When they are close enough for that take down shot, boom, you got 'im.
Tranq's were always good and the Dragon Tooth. And the environmental protection aug helps at times.

This is probably lots of overkill but it worked reliably. I used the 20 mm HE grenades for the assault rifle. And the accuracy isn't that important for those. They also worked well on the Men and Women in Black.

I preferred the prod with the MIB and WIB. That way when they go down, you have some good stuff to get. If they blow up as they do when killed then no good stuff to get.

 Agree. Although most MIBs/WIBs have nothing but weapons and ammo, an MIB at
MJ12 secret lab beneath UNATCO has a
nanokey to nearby cabinets. Quite useful. It is also better to tranq/prod them to minimize collateral damage, especially if hostage/flammable barrels nearby.

The pistol seems to work fine - just stay out of their range. And the dragons-tooth kicks their green asses too, it just gets a bit hairy.

I love the sound they make with a couple of tranqs in 'em.

Greasels or MiB/WiB?

Sniper rifle in the head works good:
*BOOM* Whelp, no more greasel

I love greasels and try not to kill them when i dont have to. :)
I personaly found shotguns to be particularly effective. Much moreso then the assault rifle for some reason. Of course the Dragon Tooth works wonders but you have a good chance of catching some venom.

I usually mow down the greasels before they get a chance to respond. But if I get hit by the venom I just switch on Environmental Resistance and wait for the blurring to wear off. With just one level of ER the venom does negligible damage.
