How do you kill the ghost in this tomb? I use the fire blade but it does not seem to have any effect on it.
dvrabel on 16/6/2002 at 00:36
It should have. Are you getting a weapon ineffective message?

Halp! Halp! I'm a Halpless person!
Go get a purty sword, then try. It's not vital that you clear this tomb at this time.

Ohh I get it. Tuco made one of his usual blunt comments and you took personal offense. Now you're going to childlishly post this in every thread he posts in.
That's pretty clever and funny.
By "clever" I mean "moronic", and by "funny" I mean "gay".
Not a single troll in Morrowind, but we get them in spades here. Yay.

lol, I bet it's that one person who started the flaming forum.

Oh, Jeez...that's not starting again, is it???
Well, anyway I hope that everyone realizes that everyone (yes, even Tuco) has the right to express themselves on these boards, no matter how offensive or sophmoric it may seem....Now, back to the topic at hand:
The only time that you should worry that your weapon is not up to snuff is if you get that "Weapon ineffective" message. Even the most minor enchantments should work on the ghost. There are two possibilities
1) (most likely) you are not "aiming" in the right area. make sure the crosshairs are aimed roughly center mass and...
2) go to your "options" section and enable "use best attack" so that you will do the maximum damage with every hit (poking somone with an axe is not likely to win any battles, afterall)

It's also quite likely your character is just missing, just keep trying to hit, the ghosts aren't a serious threat anyhow
