Also, Killer Whales/Orcas are actually a type of Dolphin. Be it the largest known kind.

Maybe she called him Flipper by mistake, and then he took his revenge.

I read before that the lady drowned.... I assume that he pulled and held her under water... I just wonder if he was in attack mode with thrashing, or if it was frustrated and swam holding her under, or playing with her?

At the end of the video, the orcas "play" with a sea lion and let it go alive (after getting their fill). They seem pretty unpredictable. I just wonder if the orca really had an intent to kill. :erg: Though I guess we will never know!

How is a killer whale killing news?
Because, like has already been mentioned, its a misnomer?
And no amount of lame jokes about this poor woman's death is going to change the fact that you messed up. Oh, and now we know you've got a crap sense of humour and are a cad to boot.

The trainer was this whale's THIRD victim so I think he can be called killer if he wants.

Starting a sentence with "And" is just bad grammar.
I would prefer you thought I had a sick sense of humor rather than "a crap sense of humor."
I gladly accept your "cad" label though.
My point was that if you put a guppy in (or around) a small tank with a piranha one of them is going to get eaten eventually, and that ain't news!

Just goes to show.. Once the beast has tasted manflesh, its hunger will never cease.
