I was on a mission for Thieves guild about dead women (Helen Hllalu) in Balmora. Her servant told me something about killer description and I found the men in a club in Balmora. But whwn I try to speak with him about it, he sends me to Nine-Toes guy or says that he knows nothing. Also, everyone in club says Nine-Toes did it, but description fails. Help?:confused:

This is the answer to your question, so don't read it if you wanna figure it out for yourself.
[SPOILER]Okay, Nine Toes is innocent. I think they are just blaming him cause he's an argonian. Many Dunmer are racists. Notice all slaves are either Argonian, or Kajjit? The people in the Council Club are lieing. They are rivals of the thieve's guild. It's one of the guys in there that did it... I can't quite remember which one though. Description is correct.[/SPOILER]
Try talking to the chick that gave you the job again. With the clues you have aquired, she may give you more info.

Also if you are already a member of the Blades : Do not harm a fellow Blade member, you will be kicked out and won't have a chance of joining again.
Nine-Toes is a Blade member.
There are two quests involving the Hlaalo manor : One for the Thieves Guild where you have to steal a bottle of Vintage Brandy and one for House Hlaalu where you have to avenge the murder. You can do both quests (and you can do the murderer quest without being in House Hlaalu, they will still thank you).
