Killed Dagoth Ur but... - by Bugs

Nothing much seems to happen.
The statue falls, I get a journal log, but when I Almvisi out of there no one seems to acknoweldge that Dagoth Ur is dead. Am I right in believeing that you have to teleport out of there by one way or another?
I spoke to Vivec, etc., but no luck. I was also kind of expecting some kind of cut scene like you got in the Cavern of the Incarnate.
Am I doing something wrong? Destroy the Heart then Kill Dagoth yeah?
Help muchly appreciated!!!

It was teleporting out that caused you to miss the final cut scene (well vision, anyway) Lots of people do this the first time they play. You need to walk back out of the heart chamber the way you came in; you don't have to go far before Azura appears to you once more, which finishes off the main quest properly.
Good luck :)

Thanks, but the door seems to be blocked. It's got the big round thing around it like I need to find a dwaemer crank or something...

Hmmmm  It was quite a while ago when I finished the main quest...I'm at work now so I can't check, but I'll have a look when I get home. You sure there isn't a lever nearby or something?

Hmm, I looked around a bit. I'm at work too so shall check again and be back on the boards later tonight.
I think the door closes behind you when you but it doesn't seem to open again when you kill Dagoth Ur...
Anyway, back to work eh?:(

StartScript AzuraEnd
...This spawns Azura, so you should back away and make sure you're not directly in front of any walls that the Daedroth could get clipped in. If the script doesn't run properly (i.e. Azura is not spawned), you can always load a save game and...
CoC "Akulakhan's Chamber"
...exit out the door of the Heart Chamber to see if the script starts then. If not, you're pretty much screwed unless you want to execute a long list of End-Game console commands.
Edit: Fixed script name. I mistakenly said the name was "EndGame," while the EndGame script executes after the Heart Bone is "whacked."

Thanks for your help Exile. Unfortunately I am on X-Box. I will have to check it out properly tonight, hopefully I am just missing something... I have a save game from just before I go into the room so I can re-try pretty quick.
Didn't manage to get a chance to check it out last night due to working unexpected overtime.
Bah, it shall not defeat me!!!

I thought someone would have told him by now! There's a Dwemer Crank that opens the door. Go ahead and walk to the door and face away from it. There should be a pipe with a crank on it straight infront of you and on your left. (I'm sure it's near the edge, but this is from memory.)
There's a crank there though. Just keep looking for that pipe.

Heh, there was a Dwemer Crank indeed. Found it and came here to post to say for no one to waste any time trying to help!! :joke:
Well, thanks anyway RyushiBlade.
What do you know, I can kill a god, but it takes may hours to work out how to open a feckin' door... :laff:
