It seems so vague so I someone can help that would be great...

I never understood it too much. I seem to be one of the only people who likes Vivec. I think you're supposed to decide for yourself, in light of all evidence, whether Vivec is good or bad. He supposedly did all this bad stuff.... But he also did a lot of good stuff too. *shrugs* But it doesn't do anything for you. Vivec doesn't carry anything except an inactive wraithguard.

Almalexia's death ends the main quest in Mournhold. You can kill Vivec if you want, but it won't affect the game or lead to any new quests or rewards. The only benefits you can get from Vivec are the inactive Wraithguard and his soul.

After Almalexia is dead, the Tribunal main quest is done.
One of the advantages to this is that you can now shamelessly kill the King and Royal Guard Captain (assuming they're done giving you quests). The King has a ridiculously powerful Royal Signet Ring that almost makes you feel like you're playing in God mode, and the Guard Captain has a sword called "Gravedigger," which is certainly one of the 5 best longswords in the game. Trouble is, you have to kill them VERY sneakily - you can't Taunt the king into a fight, and if anyone sees you attack the king, it's pretty much over for you. I'd recommend getting the Amulet of Shadows (or similar uber-high Chameleon effect) before you even try. And use ranged attacks. Oh, and any magic you try and use on the King has almost a 100% chance of Reflecting back on you. Have fun.

Huh? I was able to taunt the king into attacking me without much of a problem.

Boy, I sure wasn't. And I had about 95 speechcraft the last time I tried. Huh.

Zaphod, we have such admiration and respect for you that it doesn't matter how verbally abusive you are to us, we are willing to suffer anything to win your approval.:cheeky: The king must have sensed that.

Incidentally, Winterjade, as far as killing Vivec is concerned.....he's one of only three people in the entire game who believe you about what happened with Almalexia, so if you do decide to off him, make sure you talk to him about her first. He has some interesting, if brief, comments to make.
But please consider sparing his life? He is sort of arrogant, but I got so fond of him that I decided to take him with me after finishing Tribunal, and he and I are currently touring Solstheim together. It's a lot of fun, and he's handy to say the least when I get cornered by Raiders or Spriggans

But, but, but, he doesn't even look like an orc...

Ha ha! :laff: Well, according to my dad he does-and I quote: "An elf-god? He looks more like an Orc-I thought Elves were supposed to be the Fair Folk."
Anyhow, the pointed ears do it for me as well, and he does have a nice line in snarling :cheeky:
