I prefer the dragunov to the gauss rifle anyway, it just has a much better feel to it.

It's a consistent streak. You were at Butlins on Saturday, after all.
Yeah, but listening to the most poncy music ever, man.
Plus Waltzers. Plus Beach. Plus... oh, who am I kidding? ULTRA-CHAV.
It's an odd 'un. I know it's just because I write a load of pretentious gibberish, but my background is basically working class. My Dad and all his brothers are brickies, and I spent a chunk of my teenage school holidays helping out on building sites. God knows how I ended up like this.

One of the snipers actually dropped their gauss rifle on the ground in my first playthrough. It was in bad condition and out of ammo with no way of picking up any more.
Being able to get onto the rooftops to loot the bodies for ammo would be handy too.

His body fell too, I think. Didn't have anything on him. I could've been confusing his with another body, though.

I was using Gauss only the very end when I was working my way through warps outside the power plant. It has it's advantages, it's light and deadly if aimed for headshot.

Uhhh... light? It's the third heaviest weapon in the game, after the grenade launcher and the rpg.

Ok, maybe not. But it's cool anyway.

Worth the weight increase in the inventory eh? :sly:

Anyway, having a good sniping rifle is quite important at that final phase and I didn't want to carry Dragunov so far - 7.72s are quite rare to find.

Especially the AP ones. I've only found a few outside the NPP. And normally you don't exactly have time to be looting bodies at that stage of the game.
