I hoped I could actually roam and explore the stadium, not just being presented with a cutscene. :(
Pripyat isn't as big as I hoped for. I wanted to be able to enter and explore every house but alas. I understand there may be technical limitations for this.

What annoyed me the most in Pripyat was being unable to reach the rooftops, in order to get a Gauss rifle from any of the guys that were shooting at me with it and I killed.

When I reached the stadium entrance, the cutscene has launched, camera flying abouve the stadium showing pigs being sucked into Vortex anomalies and then, loading and I am being transfered into power plant area.
Have I missed something to be able to roam the stadium? :erg:

You can enter the stadium from several points, not just the entrance with the transition point. I entered it through a side entrance, where it was possible to pass through the bars.

Given what's inside of the stadium, I'd say the developers were expecting the player to enter it ;)

One of the snipers actually dropped their gauss rifle on the ground in my first playthrough. It was in bad condition and out of ammo with no way of picking up any more.
