Right, but the references above are about 2nd run Kickstarters for games that did meet their goal, and the 2nd version is strictly for attaining stretch goals. Can't say I've seen that before, but it sounds like it's been done.

It might've been, but I don't think I've ever seen it. The closest I can remember would be Double Fine thinking about going back to the well a second time because they ended up biting off more than they could chew due cuz they were overwhelmed with the success of their first attempt. They ended up bailing on the idea for the reason I stated above: it'd make them look both greedy and needy.
I think the Star Citizen model would work best here. They continue to receive donations through Paypal, and fund in more features if they're able. The only problem with that is they don't know how much they'll over time, while the Kickstarter gives them a base to work from.

Most projects continue taking pledges after the kickstarter ends via Paypal or whatever. I've never seen someone start a second kickstarter to fund stretch goals, and that's a ridiculously stupid idea.
How is this not provocation.

I think it's called an "opinion."

Yeah, and so is *this*.

aww, poor Godzilla got his little feelings hurt...
So, does Moyer gets zapped for having an "opinion" too? Or only if I cry about it and report it. *gasp* No thanks, Im from the old school TTLG where people could say what was on their mind. If someone got too far out of control, GBM would handle it swiftly, if the crowd itself didn't finish the job.
Peace.

I'd explain it to you, Gold, but I don't think you'd get it. The fact you've been warned for stirring shit up, spend a day or so in time out because you stirred shit up, then come right back and stir the same shit up all over again shows me that you're not exactly standing on one of the higher rungs of the swooftness ladder.
Shut up.

OK, so that's real good and all, and I get that you have power, but... MOYER is the one who started "shit" with me, TWO posts after twistys "second warning". So, why am *I* the one who gets all the psychobabble?!
Can I please just shut up now?
Renzatic on 3/3/2015 at 02:34
Because it's an opinion. A strongly worded one, but an opinion nonetheless. It wasn't a direct slight against you on a personal level in any way, just a statement that your idea wouldn't be a good one.
It's the difference between...
"Hey, I've got an idea! Blah blah blah."
"No. That's a stupid idea."
And...
"Hey, I've got an idea! Blah blah blah."
"WHAT ARE YOU SOME KIND OF MOUTHBREATHING MORON?"
It's an insult of your idea vs. a personal insult against you. Now Moyer isn't going to win any awards for class and tact, that's for sure. But hell, it isn't something worth starting, what, 3-4 days of bickering over. Act like an adult about it.
As for you getting called out for it while Moyer managed to skip away unscathed, it's probably because he hasn't been in this thread stirring shit up practically since day one. Honestly, you've been kind of a load around here.

Hmm.. I've been watching the documentary and following the development fairly closely and I don't remember them seriously talking about a second KS for Broken Age. They did end up making a second KS, but that was for another game entirely -- Massive Chalice.
