You're making fun of me right?
I mean I expected this might touch a nerve with some people. Which is the reason I tried to make it perfectly clear that I have no deal with anyone who is really concerned, ie had a personal relation. I haven't posted this in glslvrfan's or Dia's threads for a reason. And I tried to show my respect to them.
Oh well, ignore it and keep on driveling with hate. You are some fine species.
Celtic Thief, I agree that showing your sympathies doesn't equal mourning. But showing sympathies to someone you don't know and wouldn't have cared about otherwise, just because it's so easy on the net, that's just the same as what I meant.
And yeah, I won't get any keyboard mourners. You can guess I wouldn't want someone I never met in my life to write about how he probably would have been my best friend and how he sympathizes with my family.
And to all those who will never see me with the same eyes again (bit pathetic but oh well), imagine if I had died, before making this post. You might have thought I was such a nice guy.

Thanks for clearing that up in advance.

When you lose somone close to you, then maybe you will be able to sympathise with others who are going through the same thing. Until then, keep on rockin in the free world, and enjoy it while it lasts. Keyboard mourning or not, I still truly feel sorry for people I know who are suffering. I might not claim to be their best freind, but I still leave a heart felt condolence

This thread is how you show respect for other people's feelings? Wow. I'd hate to see how you show your disrespect. Look up the word hypocrite. No really, please.

Too late for that now, huh?
You've obviously missed the point that everyone here in
COMMUNITY Chat has been trying to make.
Guess it just sucks to be you today.

Dia, I started this thread, not about you or glslvrfan, but about hypocrites. I know what the word means.

The "someones I don't know" are real people. If they are going through a tough time in their life I wouldn't hesitate to show my sympathies if it makes them feel slightly better. Strangers or not, they are real people sitting in front of the monitor.

Kolya,
Go outside. You're getting upset over people you don't know comforting other people you don't know about events you don't seem to understand. This is not productive or helpful to anyone. Even if you were right about it all being platitudes, there are far worse problems in the world than people caring too much about each other's feelings.
It's ridiculous to get upset just because an online community is acting like... well, a community. Just because something is on the internet doesn't mean it's insincere, or that none of the people involved know each other.
