This is for when you get captured by MJ12. Normally you'd lose all your equipment, but if you hit the inventory key while the level is loading you'll be able to bring up your inventory before it gets taken away. Drop everything on the ground and leave the inventory screen. Now you can just pick everything up and start the level fully armed.
If this has already been said then it's my mistake.

Hey I'm not very far from that part, I'll try that =)

Is your inventory still in the storage then?

Nope. The game has to take the items out of your inventory and move them to storage, so if you use this trick to keep your stuff then there won't be anything of yours on the shelves in the armory. There's another anomaly associated with this. If you've been using the inventory "ghosting" trick or whatever it's called (drag an inventory item, don't let go, leave inventory screen, pick up new item, see new item crammed behind the item you moved) to carry excessive amounts of stuff, then when you get captured the game runs out of room to put it in the armory and you'll start with a few of your items. Really weird.
I found this by accident when I was frantically trying to quickload (because I wanted to fight to the end instead of getting immediately shot in the head) and I realized the gun I had in my hand was still out for a split second. It's a lot like the trick that lets you keep your stuff in Baldur's Gate II.

Hmm, maybe old news to most, but the way I do it here, is to drop everything before entering armoury, minus prod for the guard inside. Nice and neat in two stacks, stuff to take with you and stuff you can ignore from now on. Like this you can't keep all your LAMs and gas grenades and medikits, but pretty much everything else. Does this trick mentioned earlier save all the LAMs etc. too?
