I was watching A Christmas Carol (2019 FX version) and the scenes where Franklin Scrooge visits Ebenezer Scrooge remind me of the disembodied voice at the grotto and the cathedral. The way Franklin speaks in a low harsh whisper is very similar to the voice at the Cathedral and every time I watch those scenes all I think of is Thief.
