Finished the Karaski Beta yesterday. According to the NDA sharing specific details is forbidden, but general impressions and gushing hype is permitted, so here goes. It's good! :D

There's a beta? Is it public?
henke on 21/7/2015 at 17:59
It's not public, but if you ask Yakoob nicely he might let you in on it.
Anyway, to write a bit more about how I felt about it(without getting spoilery). It reminds me a lot of Postmortem, but it's also a significant improvement over it. I liked that the gameplay gives you more stuff to do, besides just talking to people. But even the character interaction and the story I found more interesting in this one. There's some great characters in it. ~5h playtime total, tho I didn't finish all the sidequests. Only part that dragged was the early parts, just after the opening sequence, when the game sets you loose in it's world and asks you to uncover the mystery. At first you're completely in the dark, and the world and it's factions are unknown to you, so you have to soak up quite a bit of information before you can start connecting dots and getting anywhere. It's well worth sticking with it though, because it only gets better and better as it goes. Towards the end I was getting legit Deus Ex vibes.
And the ending is so good. :)
