It's been a good two years since I made a similar post and once again, I would like to introduce you laddies to my upcoming indie game endeavor and implore your help! Without further ado...
Karaski: What Goes Up...Karaski is an open-ended, story-driven investigation game that takes place onboard a sabotaged 1920s Airship--find the saboteur, or risk becoming the suspect! Set in a fictional Dunabe Commonwealth in 1923, you are lucky to be onboard the world's first Airship! But inevitably, something goes wrong, and it's up to you to figure out what each of the passengers is hiding. Use various tools to get around to uncover new clues, and make up your own mind what it all means. Multiple Tools and ApproachesPick locks, tinker with machinery, or use your persuasive skills.
Stealth and SneakeryAvoid patrolling guards, find alternate routes, or bribe them if you can.
Complex Characters and Rich DialogueFraternize with your comrades to learn their stories... or just get them drunk enough!
Intricate StorySee how your meddling affects the airship and make up your own mind what all the clues mean!
But the questions still remain... What are the passengers hiding? Who is behind the nefarious plot? What will happen to the Airship? Can your actions change the outcome? And who are YOU working for?

Cool, it's like Postmortem writ WAY larger :)
Much as I would love to help, I actually want to play this one when it's done and get the proper experience.

Looks awesome, Yakoob, some really cool ideas there - even a few touches of Thief in addition to the other games you mentioned. I haven't played Postmortem yet, but I'd still be interested in helping out with testing.

Looks great! For some reason I'm getting a bit of a NOLF vibe, but that's probably because of the punchy upbeat music. :)

Gah, the Greenlight comments. :mad: All about the graphics. :( No wonder AAA spends most of their dev budget on graphics.

Thanks guys :) Yep, it takes a lot from my first game, but expands on it with tons more story and gameplay! And yup, nods to Thief and DX are there.

Haha, yup... there is a reason why all my engine code namespaces are "PM2" ;) And no worries about waiting for finished product, totally understand ya!

You know it started all serious but been taking a slight farcical turn in places, and I think I'm liking it. But maybe the Jazzpunk influence hasn't worn off yet... we'll see :p

Yea I know, that's what kinda bummed me out, so big thanks to all of you complimenting the style! I'll see what happens when I get some artists onboard but honestly I'd like to keep it in the same style. 30 Flights looked even more blocky and did well...

If keeping the graphics simple gives you more energy for tending to the innards of the thing, it'll be better for the game overall and I'm sure that will reflect in reviews of the finished article :)
