More or less true: the tax laws in Germany apparently allow him to write off almost 100% of the investments in the movie, so he only pays tax on profits or gets a writeoff if it doesn't make money.

It feels weird to back Uwe Boll, but I hope they don't close it. It's a good way to have a film industry, even if half the ones that get made are shit (worked for us)
