I do not think that would work either as the last Thieves Guild Quest is tokill the leader of the Fighters Guild. There may be a way around that though. If I recall there is a way to not do it and still finish the final quest. Can someone confirm this?

Hmmm... What if i did all of the thieves guild quests, then joined the fighters guild? Would that work?
That might work. There's no reason not to join the FG and do the first few quests though. Unless you're afraid
of rats, that is.

r r r rats? *gulp*
lol no the reason is that I don't know exactly which "first few" quests to do before I screw something up. Which quest do I stop on?
So let's say I do the first few FG quests, then move of to the TG quests and finish the TG up until I am supposed to kill the leader of the FG, then I do ALL of the FG quests and complete the FG, then kill the leader completing the TG as well... Hmm???

Well heck, if that's the only problem: Do the first three Fighters' Guild quests, then go join the TG. Start doing FG quests again after you kill the head so you don't have to do the quest that gets you banned from the TG. Don't worry, the new FG head is your friend.

they get a new head??? Awsome! I'll do that then! I've not yet started either faction... Right now I'm on a fighters guild quest that consists of my traveling to a bandits hideout, south-east of Azuras Shrine, and I figure while I'm over there I'll just start the "Azuras Star" quest. Before I take off on my venture though, I've got to find a spell of Water Walking!!!
Is there any way to get rid of spells that I don't want anymore???

Hold down Shift and click on the spell you want to delete, I think.

What do you need water walking for? Just take a swim. It's a good way to build Athletics, plus you can practice killing slaughterfish/dreugh and collect some pearls along the way.

But that would ruin my Remo Williams tribute!

That's what I ended up doing. it was great practice, and when i got done with the quest, I swam ALL THE WAY to Mudane Grotto, and retrieved the Dragon Bone Cuirass which has an enchantment of Resist Fire 100% Constant Effect!!!
Next I think I'm gonna finish the Azuras Star quest, and then go find a good house to steal.
I want to improve my magical skills so I can make a spell of command humanoid 100 levels for like 60 seconds, would this be possible? or is it too much?
also I noticed that when I command a human and make them follow me to a location, when I sleep or leave for a while, they dissappear, never to be found again!
