Upgrading my rifle skills to 'trained' has made a big difference.
And I installed the AUG as 'running silent'.

Yes, I meant the skills/AUGs/upgrades/however they are called (like the stealth running).
... I am currently at an "opposite AUG" replay, and I really don't like some of those, while I have never tried others. Well, no regeneration will be interesting, to say the least.
Incidentally, I am at the airfield now, too. ;)

Yes - welcome to the annoying land of area triggers. :(
To avoid this killer reputation, [spoiler]you need to stay out of the ground floor of the castle: enter by the bolt hole (the tunnel behind the soda machine), stick to the basement, maybe KO someone for a key if you want to, get back out through the bolt hole. But stay away from the ground floor at any cost.
In my super paranoia, I won't even go near the castle's outer walls at the moment, as I am not too sure where the area trigger exactly is. [/spoiler]
But... well, it's not really a bad thing to have the killer reputation. You just don't get the extra ammo, and Anna is not as much ticked off yet as she would like to be. ;)
There's another majorly annoying area trigger that you will encounter soon. In the mission after the "assassination" that Anna just suggested to Manderley.
