Oh right, the reason I re started my pc was to check this thing out.
And I never bothered to respond. Forgive me.
Anyway, yeah that would do it. It looks interesting... I don't understand it yet, though since it simulates newtons laws in universal application I'm going to hazard a guess at it being maybe a little bit physics related. I pride myself on be adept at noticing these things. though if it does end up being totally 3d (the one I DLed only looked 2d) that will be a new one on me. The physics simulator I used in phys class last year were only 2d... and I had way too much fun with
those. So yes, that helps. And good luck with it too.

I like your screenshots - it always intruiges me what other people put into the quick item slots. :)
Typically me would be:
1 - knife or dragon's tooth (the crate-opener)
2 - the riot prod
3 - crossbow
4 - changes a lot, either pepper gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, stealth pistol, or some other gun.
5 - lockpick (always)
6 - multitool (always)
7 - binoculars (always)
8 - the "door opener"-gun, that's the pistol or the gep gun
9 - gas grenades (for climbing, mostly)
It looked different for that rifle-dude, of course, or when I tried out the heavy weapon guy.

You'll notice that those slots are always different.
:)
I like that dragon-tooth-sword. Just like a light-saber.
:D

I never used the Dragon's tooth much. I thought it took up too much space in the inventory. Maybe if I played through again I would keep it but I liked my other gadgets and weapons. I kept just the baton for hand to hand combat and crate opening. I didn't keep the riot prod much either. Didn't keep binocs because I had the sniper rifle for zoom-in view.
1 - pistol
2 - Assault shotgun
3- sniper rifle
4 - assault rifle
5 - mini crossbow
6 - stealth pistol
7, 8 - interchangeable depending on situation
9 - baton
I guess this layout is because I tried to be an all around type guy. If I did a max-stealth guy or heavy weapons or something, it would probably be different. My general playing style was stealthily killing people, mainly so I could get their gadgets.

Gahhhhhhhhh! I can't be tempted like this any longer! I'm re-installing Deus Ex.

Here is my quick items bar, for my first time through the game as a all-around agent.
1) Riot Prod
2) Mini Crossbow
3) Dragon's Tooth
4) Pistol
5) The all-around very customized Sniper Rifle
6) Gep Gun for opening doors without *too* much hassle, or "disabling" that annoying bot which cannot be really attacked with the Dragon's Tooth.
7) Multitool
8) Lockpick
9) Nothing is nedeed here, I used to have the regular prod before the Riot Prod though.
I love the Dragon's Tooth, so nice to take down these annoying spider bots among other opponents. (Their explosions almost don't hurt at all, but they can be a problem when you no longer have Bioelectrical Energy. Then, they do a lot of damage.) And what else taking 3 extra spaces was available? (3 spaces because the Prod takes an additionnal space and was no longer useful after that. Yes, I could destroy these crates with a regular dart, but I didn't think of that. :)) Even with four spaces, an assault rifle or another gun wasn't really useful for me.

I'm now in the naval base, looking for some explosives.
