So is anyone playing this yet? I would like to know anyones' opinion if they have. Planning on getting, but as I have a AMD gpu was gonna wait a bit until they patch all the apparent graphical jankiness.

Don't have it yet myself, but everything I've heard about it so far has put it firmly into the bargain bin category for me. Some of the things I've read/seen that put it there are:
- It is apparently a reskin of JC2, but with fewer interesting missions. Gameplay wise it doesn't do much that JC2 didn't.
- No health bar. I hate that trend in gaming. It doesn't immerse me, it annoys me.
- Most upgrades to stuff is apparently gated by challenges that you have to discover before you can even attempt them.
The reasons I'll possibly pick it up in the future is that it's more Just Cause nonsense, but in a new locale, and the good bits are apparently quite good.

I dont really have a problem with "Just Cause 2 but bigger and better graphics", cos I have sunk a lot of hours in JC2. I dont really play it for the missions, more the free roaming exploration and shenanigans. The upgrade thing sounds annoying though.
I really want to know how it performs, heard lots of wildly different stories.

This review is hilarious. It's convinced to me pick up JC3 when it gets discounted to 75% off in 6 months time like every other Square Enix game which isn't a Final Fantasy.

Ok so I picked this up a few weeks ago. Its a bit underwhelming really, especially after having so much fun with JC2. It looks great, the wingsuit is pretty fun to play around with, but its just lacking something. The character of Rico in this game is an annoying douchebro, which gets on my nerves. And they have limited fast travel in the sense you have to use beacons, which you can pick up at certain spots on the map.
Probably the only improvement gameplay wise is clearing out bases and towns, instead of a percentage you now get a list of stuff you have to blow up in each area, which I find speeds those sections up quite a bit.

So, I finally picked up JC3 in a recent sale.
I'm not one to usually complain about performance, but Good God does this run like garbage on PS4. Used to be you could just pick up a console game and rely on it running at a steady 30fps, but between this and Mafia 3's janky performance I'm starting to question that piece of conventional wisdom.
As for the game: the wingsuit is fun and the cars are better this time around, but only a few hours in I'm finding myself oddly fatigued by this already. It's just not clicking like JC2 did.

Totally agree, even after getting a gtx 1050 recently and being able to play it with high settings smoothly, it just doesnt grab me like its predecessor, really disappointed. I have hardly explored most of the map, its just feels really grindy which is not what I want from a Just Cause game.
